During 104 my friends and I were discussing potential future match ups for Anthony Johnson. At the time we all agreed Koscheck to be a measuring stone for him to see where he's at in his career. Little did we know this fight would be scheduled very soon. Screw the Rolling Stones, sometimes you do get what you want. lol Can't wait!

Excellent fight, two wrestlers with KO power, the wrestling should nullify itself which means a stand up war, like Sherk/Edgar but with someone going out

this is a great fight, I think AJ is going to take it by TKO

his size and reach will frustrate Kos, and the wrestling should be nullified, although Kos is the better wrestler.

Koscheck is the better wrestler, don't think it will nullify if he doesn't want it too

I think Johnson tko's kos. He is going to have the size on his side and i'd prolly say the power too and with that size and power it will help fend off kos's better wrestling if he decides to take it down.

I see this somewhat going like alves/koscheck only w/ punches from johnson instead of leg kicks and johnson finishes him.

Prolly not a great matchup for Kos but it definitely helped out UFC 106.

I thought about that, too...but Johnson cuts A LOT of weight. If Kos presses the action, I can see Johnson tiring rather quickly trying to fight off his back.

Johnson is a much better striker. He has faster and more accurate hands. Kos needs to get this on the ground if he wants to win. Of course he could land a big looping shot and get the K.O. but the odds are against that. The stand up is like rashad vs. chuck. Anthony is rashad....the better boxer.

The fight is coming up so quickly after 104 that I doubt Anthony Johnson will get back up to his heaviest weight (215? 220?).

Didn't Kos once say he could get down to lightweight? This is going to be a BIG weight difference me thinks.
