A bantamweight showdown between Jeff Curran and Sam Thao has been set for “Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Rogers“.
The event is set for November 7 from the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates, IL., airing live on CBS.
The bout between Curran and Thao will take place as part of the preliminary portion of the card.

I'm so excited for this. I train at Curran Martial Arts and I love seeing jeff fight in person (I went to his fight with Benevides too).
I think from the article this should be an easy fight for Jeff. Sam Thao has no where near the same experience as jeff and no where near the ground game. The article mentions that Thao is known as a heavy handed striker but Jeff has some of the best technical boxing in any weight class and the only lighter weight fighter who has boxing on-par with Jeff's is BJ Penn.
Look for Jeff to keep it standing and pick him apart for a decision of finish it with a sub on the ground.
Edit: P.S. Fedor and Babalu and mousasi and I don't even know who else will be coming to my gym for be to meet in person!!!
