2 fighters coming off losses will look to get back in the win column in February, as Demian Maia vs. Dan Miller is being worked on for UFC 109. Both have been approached about the contest and at least one reportedly has verbally agreed to it.

Good matchup. I think Dan is tough and BJJ savvy enough to avoid an immediate submission should this hit the floor. That should provide some good entertainment watching Maia work his jits on somebody who won't be an easy sub. I see this fight playing out a lot like Maia's fight with Jason MacDonald, with a similar result.

On another Demian Maia note. When do we get to see him matched up with Rousimar Palhares? It's like the bizzaro Houston Alexander vs. Kimbo Slice. If they're going to give us one they should give us the other. How about on the same card! That would be badass.

Good matchup. I think Miller might have an advantage here in striking and wrestling or striking might be even. Miller might be my pick here. He might have some good odds on him too.

Bothn those Miller's only take tough fights eh? Honestly, I think Miller gets subbed in the 3rd round but this should be a ground fans dream fight. This better be friggin televised.

Looking forward to seeing Maia in the octagon again. I think he'll earn the victory in this one.

Very tough match ups for both Miller brothers then. I love watching em both, but ive got a feeling where going to see two Ls added to their collective record soon.

IDK man, I think his brother has a good chance against Tyson, they both have very similar styles and it just depends on who is on their game that night IMO....however Maia is going to take him out in slick fashion I believe because we all know Dan won't fall for a half assed basic sub attempt. This will be just what Maia needs to get back up there!

As soon as Maia garbs a hold Miller he's going to get chocked out. Maia has some of the quickest and slickest subs around. He has the best bjj in the UFC and probably top 5 in all of MMA. Hell even Frank MIr is training bjj under Maia now and if MIr goes to someone for jits training you know they going to be one of the top.

I hope you don't misunderstand me.....I think Dan is getting subbed, I think Jim is going to decision and may get the nod....that's all.
