One of the most attractive benefits for fighters signing with Strikeforce at the moment is the promotion’s open-door policy regarding non-exclusive contracts with the Japanese market.
Newly acquired Strikeforce fighters like Antonio Silva and Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal have either active contracts or relations with promotions in Japan.
Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker has taken a surprisingly fighter friendly stance when it comes to contract exclusivity, as other promotions, like the UFC, continue to demand it.

I'll meet in the middle and settle for once...I believe that is a 100 percent increase, maybe to much to ask.

Now this is what I am talking about! Think for a second.....they unify with Dream and go from having three weight classes (MW, LHW, HW) to six (FW, LW, WW, MW, LHW, HW). Their fighter pool grows enormously in both size and talent, the list is just to big to compile right now. Regardless of where the event takes place they could have it televised in the US, probably even PPV within a year or so. This could actually end up giving the UFC a run for their money....at least in the hardcore fan base. Now if only they had a name, something cool like....IDK...PRIDE FC!!!!!

I think what they meant to say was that they want their champs to defend every 2 years...
Even that is a stretch at this point.
