A slugfest between Kimbo Slice and Houston Alexander is looking like a strong possibility for UFC 107.
A source close to the situation advised FiveOuncesofPain.com today that although no bout agreements have been sent, at least one of the fighters has been formally approached about the possibility of the bout.
UFC 107 is scheduled for December 12 from Memphis, Tennessee, and will feature a headlining lightweight championship bout between B.J. Penn and Diego Sanchez.

I think this news getting out THIS early will piss the UFC off, especially if it's true...
But hey, you couldn't ask for a better match-up if you want a stand up brawl

This is like a dream match for an ADCC competition, hopefully for next year. We'll see them first in MMA.

I like this fight nd Kimbo's chances. This is probbly the only fight I do see Kimbo winning just due to Houston having the weaker chin. Kimbo by TKO in the 1st to which Dana signs him to a three fight contract and Kimbo loses the rest of the fights on his contract. Lets hoe Cro Cop gets him next.

I gotta disagree. I've been clamoring for this fight for almost a year now and now it appears the stars have aligned. However, I just don't think Kimbo has the same kind of standup Houston has. Granted it's all either one of them has but I just see Houston's Muay Thai being more proficient than Kimbo's boxing.
As for the chin, Houston got knocked silly by Thiago Silva, Kimbo got KO'd by Seth Petruzelli with an off balance jab. I don't think Houston has a good chin by any stretch but I don't see it being weaker than Kimbo's. Combine that with a much more brutal and punishing stand up game and I see Houston coming away with the win.... via Gogoplata! No i'm just kidding. 1st round KO.

Epic Slugfest
Houston will be undersized though unless Kimbo is dropping to LHW.
Houston only came in at 208 for a HW contest in his last fight.
