“I was very, very disturbed after the loss to Dos Santos," he said in an interview with Croatian site Nokaut last week. "I was in such a state that I wished to hang myself in my hotel room so I would be gone."Mirko Cro Cop Admits Contemplating Suicide After dos Santos Loss

let me just say that something may be a little lost in translation here. im guessing he was using that just to describe how bad he felt, and its like someone saying "im so sick of work i want to blow my brains out". i wouldnt read too much into this, the guy was upset after a loss, and thats what youd expect a (former)top competitor to be IMO.

This is how I read it, as well. Totally agree.

Here is the most important quote from that interview IMO:

However, Cro Cop is determined to stay in the UFC and fight the last two fights of his contract.

“If someone offered me millions of dollars to quit my career right now I would not accept it. [Fighting] is my life and I don’t know any other way to live,” he stated.

cro cop needs to get a new camp to be good in ufc. I don't know anything bout his camp, but I know if something isn't working, you need to make a change. I don't think he is done, he just needs to evolve more like every other fighter. Jackson mma or -att would round him up as a fighter imo.

Sounds pretty serious to me. UFC should give him some easy fights. Let him end on a high note

I am actually quite taken aback by that headline. Very unprofessional. What is this, The Star?

I really hope that Cro Cop can come back.

Maybe it's finally time to start switching up the gameplan. Whatever happened to that vicious GNP we used to see from him. I know the LHK is less useful in the cage because he doesn't have the corners of the ring to trap his opponent into, but he could still work some elbows and punches from the top if he gets the fight there.
