SAN ANTONIO – WEC featherweight Rafael Assuncao (14-1 MMA, 2-0 WEC) has just two wins by knockout or TKO in his near-six-year career.
So why was he so willing to stand and trade with Canadian slugger Yves Jabouin (14-5 MMA, 0-1 WEC) on the main card of Saturday night's "WEC 43: Cerrone vs. Henderson" event?

He looked great. His boxing inside was pretty strong. I really enjoyed that fight

Looked to me like he stood because Jabouin was very difficult to take down.

I will say he looked good but I don't think he is ready for Faber just yet.
