I def think this fight is going to decison miller and shields will have some intense scrambles but miller survived jacare and shields has good sub defense as well. Hopefully this fight is a real slobberknocker thought

This is a toss up. I am a huge fan of Mayhem's. Shields is probably the better technical fighter. Miller is tough as nails. I think this goes to decision. 48-47 Shields, but I hope Miller pulls it off.

I'll be rooting hard for Mayhem *but* I see Shields grinding out a 5 round decision. In almost 30 career fights, Mayhem has been finished twice and the last time was in '06, due to soccer kicks from Trigg. He hasn't been subbed since '02.
In other words, he's a tough SOB.
I think this fight will be spent about 50/50 in terms of being on the feet on and on the ground.
Shields wins via UD...possibly even Split Decision.

I am going to say Mayhem Miller and not just because I am a fan. I think Shields is not going to be able to lay on top of Miller for 5 rounds. Miller has good scrambling to get to his feet when he is on his back. Also I think Mayhem is a better kick boxer than Shields. I don't see this ending by either one getting submitted. I say Decision 48-47 Miller.

Heart says Miller, head is 50/50 at this point. I just feel Jake is overrated, and soon as he comes up against a reasonable striker with good TDD, hes going to get owned. Miller just isnt that fighter.
I too think Jake is overrated. I expected much more from him when I watched the Daley fight. Much much more. I think he would be totally owned by any of the top 5-10 guys in the WW division if he came to the UFC.
I saw this one going to decision regardless and was 50/50 on the victor. I picked Miller by SD

Shields brutal KO R2
i highly doubt shields wins by brutal knockout. have you ever seen his standup? he's a submission artist and while anything can happen i think the odds of seeing a brutal shields ko are right up there with jesus showing up to ko fedor.
