Middleweight slugger Scott Smith (16-6) has signed a new six-fight deal with Strikeforce, and he could see action as soon as December.

News of the new deal was first reported by AOL FanHouse, who learned of the re-signing from Smith's agent, Mike Roberts.

Roberts also shared that his client, while uncertain of his next opponent, was interested in a potential rematch with Benji Radach (19-5) or a bout with MMA legend Frank Shamrock (23-10-2).

I think Smith loses both fights. I think he got lucky against Radich and Shamrock is mush more well rounded. This guy always bring his all to the cage and I look forward to seeing him compete again.

radich yes he will lose imo. that one punch was pretty lucky last time. but shamrock idk. shamrock i think is starting to show some wear and tear.
but shamrock will stand and bang. if he wasnt scared to do it with cung le im positive he wont be scared to do it with someone like smith. i think smith would catch him in that fight imo.

I could see Smith beating both as well as losing, Frank once told me he could make 170, he just doesn't want to cut the weight. Also Frank has steered away from his old form of fighting, he wants to box everyone.

I was at that fight and let me say they slugged it out, and he has the heart of a champion. He just needs to refine his game. Radach was clipping him pretty good as well as Smith caught Benji on more than 1 occasion.

It looked to me like Smith was aiming at RADACH and there was no luck involved.

Smith vs. Shamrock would be the best bet
