Personally, after seeing Kimbo sparring and hitting the ground a bit during the first episode, I don't think he'll make it past his first fight against someone with decent wrestling.

How about that cut on Abe's head.

As Joe Rogan would say, "It looks like a goat's vagina". It was almost as bad as Eastmans.

Kimbo will get taken out by a decent wrestler but some of the guys on the show I don't know about. Kimbo looks to have a halfway decent sprawl.

What about the fake hand touch to double leg takedown? That was some bs. I hope that guy gets knocked out cold in his next fight, karma is a bitch.

LOL yeah that cut was freakin NASTY. The fake hand touch/double leg I must have missed. I was filling out some paperwork during the fight, though. Kinda surprising that Rashad/Jackson didn't have a problem with that. Definitely shady.

When that **** happened, I was PRAYING for him to get up and knock him out. I really hate how people walk up all slow, with a hand raised like they are going to touch gloves, and the mili-second the opponent raises his hand to touch gloves the other person takes adv of it. That was total BS. Even my g/f said something.

It pissed Rampage off. He ordered his team to NOT touch gloves for the rest of the competition.

Yeah the double-leg at the start of the 2nd was low. He had it whenever he wanted it, no need to be a d***.

A lot of folks are saying Rampage is an ass for leaving right after the fight - after all he made the pick. Rashad saw it - the best wrestler against a fighter with little or no wrestling.

Could be a long season for Rampage. Maybe that's why he needed to get away and go shoot a movie!

Of course it's only one fight, but Rampage doesn't appear to have any good corner men among his coaches. Their in-fight directions to Wagner essentially consisted of "do better!" I wasn't able to hear what they told him between rounds, or how they might have prepared him to fight Madsen.

Wagner's comments before the fight were that he knew Madsen was a superior wrestler, but that he was comfortable using jiu-jitsu from the bottom. His performance during the fight was a far cry from confident, though; Wagner did essentially nothing after being put on his back.

I'm worried that Rampage's fighters are essentially on their own, as far as coaching is concerned, while Rashad's fighters have Greg Jackson. Rampage's team may need a fighter to step up and be "team captain", the way Matt Serra did for Team Mojo on TUF 4 ("Hammafistelbow! Niiice!" ).

yes i agree with all who said that takedown was bs.

but seriously both of them looked like they had no talent.

the fat one just layed on him the whole time and by the midpoint of the 2nd he was completely gassed.

and abe...dude what were you doing..i wanted him to win so bad..but its like he was just laying there.not doing anything..he didnt do anything rampage was yelling at him to do..didnt even attempt to...

i gotta disagree with you on that one.

Kimbo has come a long way imo.

hes strong enough to hang with these guys.and i think he could possibly be hard to keep on the ground.

I feel bad for Rampage's team. He had them sparring semi-hard on the first day and it looked like it didn't even matter. He passed up on some quality talent over people I assume he just got along with or found intriguing. Coaches are so important and it's not fair to his team that Rampage didn't pick a smart fight. I just hope he steps it up in the future.

STILL, Rampage is the funniest man in mma. "And I get Kimbo Slice." "You don't have to do a damn thing"

Feel sorry for the guys on Rampages team....it seems like Rampage's view is this is solid TV time for him to work the camera's and drop funny one liners. Don't get me wrong I think he's a funny dude but he should get his head out of his ass and take this seriously before more of his guys get ran thru.....

you never know what Kimbo has learned since his last fight. I saw Kimbo throw a nice hip-toss when sparring. Probably a strong dude, just needs to hone his slillz.
