UFC light heavyweight “Assassin” Houston Alexander (8-4) must beat “Tank” Sherman Pendergarst (11-14) at Adrenaline MMA 4 in Omaha 18 September to remain in the UFC, a source close to the Adrenaline MMA event has confirmed to Fighters.com.

Perhaps it goes without saying; but, Fighters.com wanted to verify the stakes for Alexander. “Oh, yeah. If he loses, that’s it with the UFC,” said Fighters.com’s source.

I can't say I'm a fan of him as a fighter, but I'm definitely a fan of him as a person. I totally respect what he's doing and what he's already done.

ive only heard good things about him out of the cage, and as a guy thats been down the single dad road i have a ton of respect for him.....but hes not a top fighter by any means and whether hes in the ufc or not doesnt really matter to me.

He came in with a bang, shocked alot of ppl and slid down the ladder again...his ground game had been exposed time and again, and i think he has had plenty of time now to devlop it, and improve upon his all around game, i think if he cant pull off this win, he should absolutly be out of the ufc. Thats a bad thing to say for such a great person and a single dad though.

WAR Houston!

LOL he has the original "assasin" name

Young Assasin, African Assasin, Silent Assasin, Filipino Assasin

But they just can't compare to "The Assasin"

I'm praying for a Houston victory because it could mean we're that much closer to seeing the fight I've wanted for more than a year now. I never thought it could really happen but we're so close, please I need Houston vs. Kimbo. I need it. I never thought Kimbo would be in the UFC so I assumed we'd never see the fight but now he's coming and god dammit if Houston is on the verge of getting the boot! Please, if there is a god, let Houston win. Let him come back in December and fight Kimbo at a catch weight of 220. I need this. It's the novelty fight to end all novelty fights and it can only end in a spectacular KO. Please, give me just this one thing.

True true, i feel bad for miss-speaking there, I to am I fan of the person, just not the fighter and it's what I meant to say.
