Gina Carano has been cast as the star of an upcoming movie called Knockout. The movie will be an action movie and directed by Steven Soderbergh (Traffic, Ocean's 11, 12, 13). Production is said to take place at some point in Jan. 2010.

I always kind of thought that she enjoyed fame way too much for an MMA fighter. There are a few hams for sure but not that many, and she did that tv show a little while ago too. I doubt she will last long in the sport of MMA now.

Carano is done in MMA. Based on the comments Randy made after her fight with Cyborg I don't believe she ever wanted to be a fighter. MMA was just the gateway to show us her pretty face.

yeah Soderbergh has got some real magic in him. And after being dominated by Cyborg i can really see Carano kind of going into movies instead of competing for the belt.
