Leben has battled himself, and a lot of personal demons, but he's proven on quite a few occasions that he is worthy of being in UFC. His brash personality, and partying haven't done him any favors in many peoples eyes, but he is a solid fighter.

I'd bump him down to the bottom of the ladder, give him one more chance to prove his worth, and if that fails then send him packing.

I assumed that his fight with Jake Rosholt was that last chance.

If that was the case then I would assume we will know soon enough. I feel bad for a guy like this in a way. He's been his own worst enemy. He just can't seem to get out of his own way.

Or mabeys replace him with somebody who doesn't abuse steroids.

As soon as you can discover a way to definitively know whether or not a fighter is "abusing" steroids, I'd be all for that. I think it's a bit naive of anyone to believe that quite a few fighters aren't cycling.

Or have to cancel fights to go to jail for driving under the influence.

Driving under the influence has absolutely NOTHING to do with his performance in the octagon.

Neither did Jesse Taylor mocking Rampage after his breakdown. Still got him the boot though.

I agree with the steroid part, we'll probably never know 100% which fighters cycle. That point is completely irrelevent in regards to Leben though, as he was caught and is a proven user of the roids.

We don't know that for sure.

Losing to CB Dolloway got him the boot not his alleged comments about the UFC's handling of the Rampage car accident.

I think it's already too late to cut a fighter for a failed test. Fighters like Sean Sherk, Karo Parisyan, Diego Sanchez...none of them were punished outside of their AC suspensions.

However, if a "2 strike" rule was added, I would be in favor of it. I do believe, however, that fighters deserve a chance to redeem themselves. I'm not above giving someone a second chance.

Couldn't agree more.

His chin makes it so easy for a fight to become a slugfest. He will never be a contender but hes worth watching.

Leben has failed to evolve since TUF 1 , while almost all of his castmates have evolved or moved on ( with the acception of bonnar) . Still the exact same fighter , bullrush forward relying on left hand and chin .

Lost 5 of his last 8 fights , the 3 wins have been perfect stylistic matchups . Sakara , Riviera and Martin all like to trade on the feet and have been ko'd combined 12 times .

Add his willingness to use banned substances , his dishonorable discharge from the military , the DUI , Did not train for the rosholt fight ...... the man reeks of poor character and needs to get cut .
