As Anderson Silva and Lyota Machida continue to tear through the middleweight and light heavyweight divisions, Dana White addressed the possibility of the two champions and friends meeting in the Octagon. "It has nothing to do with friendship," White said. "It's about seeing who's the best."

How much you wanna bet Anderson Silva and Lyoto Machida win this battle? What is Dana going to do.. put a gun to their heads? Get real.

If they dont want to fight, They wont.... I think its as simple as that. They dont need to fight anyways IMO.
Silva has three fights left right?? Hendo has one, Win or lose he will most likely surrender the belt. Then theres two fights left, Machida doesnt need to be one of them. I bet if Randy drops back to 205 he will get one. Then we still got the fued they already started to market, Wanderlei V Anderson.. Or Rampage, Evans, Ortiz, Maia, I could go on!
Dana dont be a dooch just because you can

Unless Anderson and Lyoto want to fight, it is a dead issue. You can't make two people fight... and even if they contractually obligated to fight each other it wouldn't be a real fight. It would be more like Fedor vs. Mousasi... little more than some sparring.

With the UFC putting together the "Best of Pride" series this January on Spike, many people have pondered the possibility of the UFC reinventing the Pride brand name in Japan. White quickly dispelled any of those rumors.
The most intresting part of the Article! I can't wait for that.
To Dana it might be about seeing who is the best but not to the guys training in the gym every day. These 2 have reached the peak and have nothing to prove. They arn't like Mark Miller and that other guy fighting to get on the show that could turn them into stars.
