On the countdown when Anderson said Robert Drysdale was an Idiot and a fool and he doesnt know what he's talking about. Hahaha Robert Drysdale would rape Anderson Silva in a Jiu-Jitsu match and probably will forget more about Jiu-Jitsu then Anderson Silva will ever learn.

Yes but thats like Anderson Silva saying one of his fighters will win then somebody turning around and saying Anderson Silvas an Idiot and doesnt know what he's talking about haha. A pretty dumb thing to say.

This doesnt suprise me at all. It seems to the more dominant Anderson becomes, the more he feels he can just do/say what he wants. I dont think its right to just go round labelling people idiots just becouse they made a prediction on a fight.

I don't think he meant it like it came off and that it is being taken out of context... I admit it sounded somewhat disrespectful.
But Anderson is always joking around and is a sarcastic guy......I took it as more of a playful: "Pshhh..who is this guy? Thinks Forrest will sub me? Yeah right! What are you thinking"
Who knows though...maybe he was being rude.

Perhaps what he said did not translate exactly how he intended...I'm assuming that's what RNC was eluding to. But, perhaps it was dead on. Who knows...Ed Soares has been known to soften up some of his guys statements in the past, so maybe this is just a case of us getting an unedited version of Anderson. Either way, I think I know what he was trying to say...I suppose if it was translated as him saying that Drysdale is crazy for saying that, we wouldn't be talking about it.

doesnt seem Anderson Silva like ... but I dont blame Anderson if he did say it.
first of all, where did we get this information ... unless we get the info first hand (and happened to understand Portuguese perfectly) - people may have misunderstood what Silva actually meant
but like I said, if you're one of the top fighter and somebody made a bold prediction like that, sometime you cant help but react by calling the person an idiot, though if we want to play nice, we would say the prediction is idioti ... not the person, but hey, no one's perfect
and yes, I do agree the statement (that Silva would be submitted) is rather idiotic

In my field Nobel laureates are called idiots and most of the time it's true. Not everyone says/does the perfect thing all the time and we are so quick to point it out when they do (calling someone an idiot is the easy response). We are all guilty of it. I think it's part of human nature.
