The Association of Boxing Commissions recently held its annual conference in New Orleans, and a number of revisions and clarifications to the Unified Rules of Mixed Martial Arts were approved by the attending members.

Well at least the refs have defined rule now but I still think some refs wont understand it.

Then how did I know about it prior to this article being published? The issue of head strikes was discussed by Big John long ago.
I was initially confused about the definition of downward elbow strikes, but that also got cleared up ages ago as well.
