This time it's official. After apparently premature reports over the last day or so that former Cage Rage star Paul Daley had signed with UFC, Daley officially signed with the promotion a short time ago. He will make his UFC debut at UFC 103 against Brian Foster.

I wonder if they'll flip him into a quick 2nd fight at UFC 105, he's shown he can draw in Europe.

There's nothing official yet, but if they're smart they'll put him in a real scrap and won't expose his lack of ground skills right off the bat. Davis or Matt Brown have been thrown all over the forums. Probably the best match ups I could think of.

If it's Brian Foster, then it's a Hit Squad guy, which means classic striker vs wrestler matchup. I can't understand what goes through Joe Silva's head sometimes. Put Paul against any guy with a striking base and you're going to have a fight of the night on your hands--or you can have a really boring match of two guys trying negate the others game.

Well Foster never wrestled in college, and 60% of his wins are by (T)KO; Let's hope his gym doesn't decide the way the match up is played out (even though we know it will).
He is a good wrestler though, having done it throughout high school; and he also submitted Nathan Coy who I've had my eyes on as a legit prospect for almost 2 years now.

I'm pretty sure it will be a 6 fights PPV since there are no title fights.

They will try to put as many on as possible but it boils down to the fact they are allotted a limited amount of pay per view time and can only air fights within that framework, I believe its about 3 hours

No doubt in my mind that they'll drop one of the fights currently on the PPV and put it on the under-card.
