The CEO of Strikeforce recently returned from a vacation in Italy to find Emelianenko a sudden free agent after the collapse of Affliction. His own event, “Carano vs. Cyborg” on Aug. 15, had encountered a few hiccups as well with injuries and drop-offs, but he is happy with the almost-finalized product.

This move will lead to Zuffa finally taking out Strikeforce. You 1 up on UFC you go down.

Hopefully Rogers beats Fedor, and we see both in the UFC... After a loss I can't see them being able to negotiate as well... But then Rogers stock goes WAAAAAY up, I dunno but isn't Brett Rogers a training partner with Lesnar.... I heard that before...

The current offer is $1 million per fight...Strikeforce would pay $500,000 and CBS would dish out the other $500,000. It's a non-exclusive deal and M-1 would be co-promoting.

I could care less about Fedor any more if he wants to set over seas and wait on fighters to get released from the UFC so he will have someone to fight then let him.
