I'm personally looking forward to his debut.

Can't wait to see who the UFC matches Paul up with. I like Semtex and if he can get with a camp and get a ground game in order than I think he can be a real bruiser in the division.

He will not be contending for the title, but he sure will put on some exciting fights in the UFC if Joe Silva uses him right. I hope he gets somebody like Matt Brown or Chris Lytle for his first fight.

Have him fight Goulet first, to highlight his power and kickboxing.
then have him fight a Davis or Brown type fighter to see how he does wth them.

love this signing, i think its been a long time coming. hes going to take some lumps when he gets in there with some of the 170 lb grapplers, but fights with alves, lytle, davis, taylor, etc would be fun to see.

Paul Daley vs. Matt Brown
PLEASE
Great pickup by the UFC, I'm a huge Daley fan but he's going to be undersized and have a hard time at WW in the UFC b/c of his lack of wrestling.

I think Paul Daley will have a very hard time with all of the grapplers at welterweight.

Unless he rounds out his game a bit, I don't see him making a run at the belt. He'll make for some exciting match ups in the weight class though. He is kinda undersized for the weight class, but if he was a little more well rounded he'd make for some amazing scraps.

love this! Im a huge Daley fan and can't wait to see him in the octagon \!! I'm guessing they will feed him fighters on the UK cards which is more than fine with me. If Davis deserved a few easy fights in a row I think Daley does as well and he will not disappoint....unless the guy is a grappler......oh well I love this move!!!
He won't be thrown to Koscheck or Fitch right off the bat or some great grappler he'll get fights with strikers if the UFC wants him to be a face for their UK expansion so I's think thats the road they will take because he's probably the best striker at 170.

I too am a big fan of Daley's he puts on exciting fights, but I would much rather see him in the LW division. I still can't get the size difference out of my head between Daley and Shields and Shields isn't that big of a WW and there be some Monsters in the WW in the UFC

Seen Paul fight live a few times here in the UK, he's a superb fighter.
One thing, his takedown defense is better than you think..

I think he's not gonna do that well in the UFC, probably finish his contract 2-2, there are people at WW he'd beat, but I feel that there are more people at WW that'd beat him.
