MMAWeekly on Thursday caught up with former middleweight contender Patrick Cote to get an update on his injured knee and get his thoughts about last Saturday’s UFC 100. Prior to the centennial show, the 29 year-old Montreal resident wanted to fight Michael Bisping if he emerged victorious against Dan Henderson. Obviously, that’s changed.
MMAWeekly: How’s the knee?
Cote: The knee’s doing well. I’m going to see my doctor next week, just to check if everything’s okay and to have the okay to push more. Next week I’ll be fixed for sure.

i use to like cote but he just talks way to much. He keeps sayin he wants to fight anderson again but the first time anderson just messed around with him the whole fight and cote didnt exactly bring the fight either. And he keeps talking **** like saying "I don’t think Bisping needs a fighter like me to fight right now." Im just wondering if something has changed since he got injured cuz i would put him and bisbing in the same category. But i think henderson will absolutely destroy him. Cote is a good fighter probably top 15 but i just think that he thinks to much of himself alot like bisbing.

Hendo by brutal KO. His chin is great, but not as good as he thinks it is. He would be too confident in the standup and get put to sleep.

How is it possible that they haven't fought before now? They've both fought EVERYBODY else at that mid level.

Well Hendo shouldnt have to face Cote, and Okami is set to face Sonnen.
I would like to see Belcher vs Cote, both guys like to talk and then will stand and trade.

I would rather see Hendo fight Okami for next in line following Maia/Marquardt winner.
Have Cote fight W. SIlva for his first fight at 185.

Cote wont be fighting hendo. Dan says if he doesnt get a title shot for his next fight....he's asking to go back to 205. Maybe they will talk him out of it..but i doubt it.
cote v wandy or belcher sounds good.

maybe Belcher, Cote does not deserve a big name fight like Hendo or wandy. I would be pissed if I was Belcher and I had to fight him. Belcher should get another fight with a big name opponent, he has shown he can take it. Heck I think Leben/Belcher would be awesome or a Leben/Cote rematch? I do not think Cote is that great, beating Almeida is really not that big of a deal.

Cote vs Wandy would be amazing! But I don't see it happening. He'll probably fight mid level talent until he proves he is ready (part of me wants to say "until he's ready again" but he never was)

I want to see Cote/Leben 2. I bet the sequel would be much more exciting than the first.
