"The Ultimate Fighter 8" winner Ryan Bader (9-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) will reportedly look to keep his undefeated record intact against five-time UFC veteran Eric Schafer (11-3-2 MMA, 3-2 UFC) while returning to action at UFC 104.

I dont really like this matchup, unless we see more standup than ground action. Bader can prolly smother eric for a decision. Unless eric pulled out a guillotine or something.

Interesting match-up...I may take Schaffer by sub, Bader definitely is stronger and the better wrestler..but Eric is slick on the ground..and maybe better standing, but that may not come in to play.

I'm thinking Schaffer round 2 sub.

this is a great fight to see some of Bader's sub D. i think Bader has a very bright future, and i like to see how he improves every time he steps into the octagon

schafer is a decent gate keeper, slick on the ground but bader is too strong for him, i think another unanimous decision is in the works for darth bader.

I thought maybe they would cancel each other out on the ground, but I went back and rewatched the fight he had with bonnar and now I think bader might be able to pound him out for the victory.

I think the bigger questions in this fight is. Bader is coming off the injury, how will that effect him? Also who's stand up will be better?

Because Bader can control where this fight goes and eric might not even get the fight on the ground.

I hope duke roufus and pat berry tighten up schafers standup, seems like thats his best chance of winning.

seeing as how eric schafer and tomazs drawl are my favorite LHWs, i'll be cheering for big red. I think his stand up will shock some people!

schafer has improved a ton in every aspect of mma since joining the ufc. his stand up still is really weak though, but i think this one will be on the mat for the most part. that said, this could be a really tough test for bader, and i wouldnt be surprised to see eric get the win here.

This will be a very tough fight for Bader and I'm not sure he will win. If Schafer gets him on his back it will be a bad day for Bader. If I was Bader I would avoid the ground all together. This isn't Magalhaes and Schafer wont give up he will force the action to get Bader to the ground. To top it off Schafer has a very good chin.

Schafer by Arm triangle in the 1st.
