A featherweight bout between LC Davis and Javier Vazquez is set for Affliction "Trilogy" on Aug. 1 in Anaheim, Calif.
Sherdog.com was the first to report the match-up, and MMAWeekly.com subsequently confirmed it with Affliction vice president Tom Atencio. The bout will take place on the HDNet-televised undercard.

Davis got worked bad in his fight with Omigawa. Maybe he's worked out some kinks in his takedown defense, because Vasquez will submit him if he hasn't.
Good fight; still would prefer Thomas vs. Vasquez though.

agreed, hopefully LC has plugged some of the holes in his game that were exposed in the omigawa fight, like getting off his back.
