In the 13 months since his last fight, Tito Ortiz has said more times than I can count that he's close to signing a new contract to return to MMA with another organization. So take this with a grain of salt: Ortiz claims he's close to a new deal with Strikeforce, and he's already targeting an October return to fight Renato "Babalu" Sobral. He also says he has his eyes on a future fight with Fedor Emelianenko, and he says he won't return to the UFC as long as Dana White runs the company.

When he speaks all I hear is, "BS BS BS BS and then I owned Shamrock, BS BS BS BS, and then I slapped Dana, BS BS BS BS and Trump and I are best buds, Jenna Jenna Jenna Jenna."

I feel like I've heard this before. OH thats right because I have like 20 times, untill Ortiz actually signs somewhere, there should be no news of him "getting close" to a deal.
Honestly Ortiz doesnt bring a threat to any big names in SF. His game hasnt changed and skills prolly arent any better. I love would to see Ortiz get dominated by Fedor and Babalu.

I don't like him at all but he would rule strikeforce and I dont see anyone in that org he cant beat but I still hope they dont sign him.
I would rather they went out and got five high level fighters for the price of one Tito Ortiz. He's still somewhat of a gamble with his past injury's and he's never worth what he wants to be paid.
How about this, take all the money you would have to pay Tito and go buy 15 or 20 of the top WMMA fighters and create a true womans MMA outlet, its a niche, Its not going to be that hard to do when you already have the Emelianenko and couture of womans MMA signed and Ill watch it!

Well SF doesnt have the deepest talent or the deepest talent in the LHW division. But Tito wouldnt be able to be babalu. Looking at the SF roster right now there doesnt seem like a lot of big matchups for him.
I see Babalu and Frank Shammy. Ortiz hasnt evolved his game to beat any top guys in any org.

the fedor part i can believe. why would his management turn down an opportunity for Fedor to beat another washed up UFC champ?
seriously, stop posting Tito news unless its actual news.

As much as I like to see Tito lose, I don't see him losing to either Babalu or Shamrock.
