We've just learned Michael Jackson has died. He was 50.

Michael suffered a cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon at his Holmby Hills home and paramedics were unable to revive him. We're told when paramedics arrived Jackson had no pulse and they never got a pulse back.

A source tells us Jackson was dead when paramedics arrived.

Once at the hospital, the staff tried to resuscitate him but he was completely unresponsive.

Sure? I just read that he's only been hospitalized and is in a coma. Bear in mind that TMZ is a tabloid/gossip site first and foremost, so you can't always believe them.

Edit: Reports he's dead are UNCONFIRMED.

The fact that he was never resuscitated and no outlets getting word form the hospital on his condition, makes it very likely that hes already dead. Or possibly on a machine in a vegatative state for as long as it takes for his family to get to say goodbye to him.

Thats my impression from everything ive seen on tv.

CNN hasn't confirmed it yet, and they're pretty reliable. I guess I'll believe it when the family says so.

Faux news is reporting he's dead.

Now that i think about it its pretty sad for his family in all but it is sad for the rest of us as we will never see what kind of plastic surgery he would have at age 70+

just imagine how scary he would have looked +20 years

Michael and Farrah go on the same day. That's rough.

Wow!, talk about a shock. Today was a definitely bad day for famous celebrities. Anyhow conncening Michael I think it sucks that he died, for that matter it sucks when anyone dies. Just the way he's gone out to see such a bright shining star of the pop world literally destroy his own career with questionable career moves and also Pedophilia. With that being said I think any one born before 85 and maybe even after has an enjoyment for his music down deep inside. I love heavy metal, rock, and hard rock, but I have fond memories of being afraid of the Thriller video when I was a little kid or being excited to see Slash play White or Black live with him ( Gun's N' Roses, my fav band of all time). Anyhow no matter what you think of him as a person, this is definitely a big loss in the music community as he certainly was and forever will be the King of Pop.

I have no sympathy. I have three girls and as a father I really care if he was the king of pop or the king of plastic surgery, the man was a child molestor. So who cares if hes a singer or how well he did in the music world? hes still a big piece of ****. You hurt one of my girls I'll send you straight to hell.

im not even going to go into his personal life, the fact is he was the single greatest entertainer of my generation. his music transcends generational gaps and even young kids today recognize and love thriller. ive been a huge fan all my life and this is a very sad day for me personally, and im sure for his family and those close to him as well. lets not forget he has 2 children hes leaving behind too, you may not like him, but those kids have not had easy lives and never will because of who their dad was and with him gone it will probably be even harder for them.
