Brian Bowles is widely regarded as the No. 2 bantamweight in mixed martial arts, but in the bantamweight division, there's a wide gulf between the No. 1 fighter, World Extreme Cagefighting champion Miguel Torres, and everyone else.

Yeah I dont see anyway Bowles can beat Torres. I think torres picks him apart and prolly finishes him in the 2nd or 3rd

it all depends on brian's ability to get inside. If brian can tie him up and fight inside he's got a serious chance. He's A LOT stronger than torres.

I agree. Torres is on a different level for me.

The fighters with the best abilities to beat Torres are fighting at a weight class higher. I know Aldo can cut to 135 and Faber might be able to, and both those fighters are bigger threats to Torres's gold than Bowles probably is.

I think Bowles has tremendous upside, though, vying for a title at such a young age.
