Without trying to beat a dead horse on the issue regarding judging, the discussion revolving around the current MMA judging model is definitely an intriguing debate. After The Ultimate Fighter Season 9 Finale's debatable decisions on both the main card and undercard, many fans have realized that some changes need to be made. Kid Nate made the argument that the Japanese judging system might be a better fit for MMA while Joe Rogan seemed to side a bit with its application as well.

I think both sides have valid arguments, but over all its actually the JUDGES themselves that dissapoint me in UFC

Id like to see the pride style judging in the UFC personally. I think the fight should be judged as a whole not by rounds!!!!

If they keep using a 10-point must they should start allowing half-point scores. PRIDE-style judging was far superior.

i believe Pride's style was better for the sport. I believe that all fights should be finished. If you lack the ability to finish, then atleast try to finish. If you believe that you truly are a more superior fighter than your opponent, then prove it.

I didn't like the fact that Clay Guida beat Nate Diaz by basically hugging him towards the end of the fight. In Pride he would have gotten a big fat yellow card, about the size of Tito's and Rampage's head combined.

i totaly agree with most ppl rather see the fight judge in a whloe rather then like boxing by the rds.I always like to see a guy come from behind in a fight and comes close in finishing his oppent or putting a **** kicking to him.I think thats why most ppl get mad over close decisions because when u watch a fight you always feel that the guy thats almost finishing or landed the biggest shot should get his raised or thats how i feel anyways.I admitt i'm guilty of judging ufc fights as pride fights but i feel that would add more excitement if they went by the pride scoring system.they have to change something thats all i know.

PRIDE style judging was far superior. It always has been the answer and will continue to be. Unfortunately it won't happen.
