Alls i have to say is wow. I just got done watching that fight and in the first 15 seconds my mouth dropped. They came out banging and Diago rocked him at least 20 good times within the first minute. Also that leg kick to the head by Sanchez was beautiful. I give Guida mad props for stayng awake and surviving that first round. That was also a super bloody fight.
In the second round Diagos guard was beautifull. I loved all those elbows that he threw from being on bottum. Me and my dad always ask are selfs why knowone uses their elbows from their guard. But overall i think Diago really did win that fight. But Guida is a very good fighter. Diago really looked like he was on the top of his game for that fight. Know people who didnt watch know what happened hehe.

An unbelievable fight! Sanchez came out in the first like a man possessed. Clay literally has a granite chin. any other fighter would have been unconscious in the first 10 seconds. Easily FOTN and FOTY candidate for sure.

i thought Sanchez won all 3 round and was surprised it was a split. Being on top is one thing, but I thought Sanchez controlled & did more damage from the bottom in the 2nd. Thought the first was a 10-8 and Sanchez won the 3rd. Great fight though. Clay is one of those fighters you just love to see, win or lose, becuase he leaves it all out there in the cage.

I also gave diego all three rounds but at the very least it was 29-27. Guida did hardly any damage in the second round and they kept saying diego was cut but I think it was all Guidas blood. All respect to Guida I didn't think it was going to go to a decision.

i had diego winning a uni dec when i picked, fight went about how i thought it would with that being said.....
Guida needs to learn something other than wrestling, man has an amazing chin i though he was gone!, all guida's offense was wrestling, then laying on diego lay n pooper....
i had deigo winning while scoring, because he had great elbows in the 2nd, dominated the 1st (10-8), 2nd round i had (10-9) Deigo because of damage and activity from bottom, and attempting subs. (although i was worried it didtn go that way i almost gave it to guida myself). and the 3rd round was really close but i gave it to Diego too (10-9). I nearly gave the fight to Guida just because of postioning but i felt diego did enough to win the fight 30-26 or 29-27.
One of the best fights of the year thanks to Diego, and Guida's chin...

No idea what that female judge was thinking giving Guida the fight 29-28 - she must have just finished her 40.
I think Guida wins 'Chin of the Year' if there was such an award - tough dude.

me too, the second round could have gone either way but he still won the fight, definitely fight of the year, i usually hate the mean mugging but they backed it up big time.
