Gina Carano and Cristiane Santos (better known as Cris Cyborg) will step into the cage in the main event of the August 15 Strikeforce show in what is being billed as the biggest fight in the history of women's MMA. But there's a looming question over the fight: Can Carano and Cyborg make weight? And on a call Thursday to promote the bout, neither Carano nor Cyborg was in the mood to discuss it.

In my opinion asking a question like that this far out from the fight is just poor journalism. Why didn't he just come out and say "Hey I am just trying to think of something cool to say so I am going to talk about something you have had a problem with in the past".

I agree with Darnok, if the fight was on this weekends Card it would be a relevant question.

Although It is kind of a double standard, I doubt any Male fighters have any trouble telling you what weight they walk around at.

Wanting to be treated equally doesn't mean they want to be treated like men and Gina did point out that neither should have issues at this weight, I think her answer was fair.
