Although he's 0-2 so far in UFC, it's not "Strike 2, You're Out" for Mustapha al-Turk. His instructor says the Heavyweight will be offered another shot in UFC despite losing his first 2 fights, with one likely difference-no Dan Miragliotta as referee.

No disrespect but, there isnt a heavyweight I can think of off the top of my head that Al-Turk can beat!!!!
This is just prolonging the inevitable in my opinion. Just a matter of time until the UFC gives him the axe.

Im guessing that Al-turk's next opponent wont be an easy one. And a loss will what put him at 6-6?
Have him fight herring.

Give him someone easier. His first 2 fights turned out to be bad draws-first fight his for gets hurt and Kongo steps in. Second fight he had a winnable one in Duffee then they bump him for CC. It's not al-Turk's fault he's 0-2.

Agreed here, I like Al-Turk, not a favorite but the UFC threw him in as shark bait his first two fights with the UFC. Give him someone easier.

What about Turk vs Pat Barry?
I think that fight makes sense, and one that Hype should win...if he doesn't come in over cocky again.

Good that the UFC isn't booting him for his loss to Cro Cop as it was controversial regardless of whether Cro Cop would have beaten him anyways. I think a fight with Pat Barry would be great aswell as fights with Struve and even Gonzaga.

Exactally the matchup I was thinking. I think Barry would win it. Turk isn't impressive at all. But I'm glad he's getting another shot after that BS poke in the eye.

Why give him someone easier ? This is the big show & he should have to prove himself just like everyone else. Yes the last fight wasn't called the greatest ,but A.T needs to step-up to prove himself in the UFC.

Duffee was going to win that fight.
Tuck al Turk away in a preliminary fight against somebody like Stefan Struve or Tim Hague. Barry is an interesting choice, but I'm hoping the UFC will match him up against Hardonk. That would be an exciting striking fight.
