Very true, just got an e-mail and it baisically said he's going to decide based on opponents, and how many fights he will be offered this year, not only money. Theres confusion in Mirko's camp right now acctually, pretty funny.
The UFC should give Crocop another opponent quickly let him build some confidence then throw him in with the wolves again see what happens!!!!!
agreed, i thought he looked pretty good last night, was never in danger and picked al turk apart on the feet, imo the eye poke just clouded the inevitable, al turk was going down soon.

Purely speculation, I'm guessing Dana offered Crocop a new deal, Cro cop said he would consider his options and leave it at that. As a result, Dana is furious and gets his buddy Iole to write up a story.

You know I'm of the last people to defend Dana, but if he really told Dana that he's signing with Dream backstage, is anyone surprised that he flew off the handle? And when he landed in Croatia, he told one reporter "It's my personal business" and another that he's 94% sure he signing with the japanese. WTF?
Hopefully the only reason he would and I would go back to Dream is to rematch and kick Overreems ass but then come right back. Theres so much more for him in the UFC IMO unless hes just set on fighting Barnett again or Fedor too again. But I want to finally see him fight Randy, Nog again, and maybe even Mir and Lesnar. Plus hes easier to watch plus I think he could be a all time great UFC fighter if he just stayed there.
Please stay in the UFC!!! A controversial eye poke(even though I think it really dont effect the outcome at all since he was heading for the end anyway) is not the best way to go out of the UFC cuz u know how some people are and think. A head kick KO over Lesnar for the UFC Heavyweight title would be bad ass and own all head kick KO's

New update. Word has it Cro Cop and the UFC negotiations are still on going but word has it the contract isn't what Mirko is looking for. Some of the things Cro Cop wants is are a garenteed title shot if he wins 2 more fights(so the third fight would be a title shot). Also he wanted a garenteed 3 fights before the end of the year, Dana coulden't do that either. Money's not the problem, and apperently Dana made a nice monetary offer. As for whats going on, apperently Mirko's going on vacation for a while, then deciding when he returns. Also Dana knew that Dream made a contract offer BEFORE he fought at 99, now he's throwing Cro Cop under the bus to try and get him to sign the contract he wants him to.
