What hasn’t been written about the encounter between Dan Hardy and Marcus Davis by the media? Both fighters have been taking verbal swipes back and forth since before the fight was officially announced and at the end of the week we will find out who was telling the truth about what was going to happen.

“I don’t know what is going on with Marcus Davis at the moment, but I think he is going to be exhausted before we even fight with all the emotion he is putting out at the moment,” jibes a suitably relaxed Dan Hardy, adding, “I am always full of energy. I enjoy the media aspect of the fight game a lot and I have just kept poking fun at him to keeping him boiling. Hopefully it will make him dig into the trenches and prove a point by fighting with a lot of heart.”

You got to give it to Hardy... he has really drawn a lot of attention to this fight.

agreed, and even as a Davis fan i am liking what Dan Hardy is doing. i am hoping for the fireworks that both of these fighters are advertising and at the end of the day i plan on having even more respect for both fighters.

Hardy is actually on to something. I think he's correct in his assesment that Marcus is the kind of guy to get worked up over some trashtalk. Maybe it backfires and Marcus comes at him hard in the opening minutes--but I could definetely see Marcus being a little emotionally drained.
