Good thing I don't play this. I think my wife would be able to use it as grounds for divorce.

I've got the number one ranked Featherweight in the game! 5-0 with a title belt.
Wow i love this game!
Now i need to get my head around training my fighters and developing their skills to make them better.
Any tips on training, making my guys 'pop', etc,etc....?

I take that back...I suck at using the sliders, too. I can't seem to get a grasp on it.

- Fighters can train while injured. - Fighters train more slowly when their Energy is low. I usually rest anyone under 80%.

Hard to give advice without more information. I set my sliders differently for each of my fighters, and tweak them from fight to fight, depending on how I want to approach my opponent, and based upon how I see my fighters perform.

A few other things I thought of:
- Once a fighter gets his second contract, he'll probably have more money than he knows what to do with, so there's no reason not to keep him on supplements after that. I tend to use supplements that reduce Energy Loss. I haven't experimented with them enough to be able to recommend a brand.
- Sparring sessions improve skills related to the discipline, although more slowly than if they're training the specific skill with a coach. For instance, one of my fighters improved his Ground & Pound after a session of Wrestling Drills.
- Unlike training with coaches, you want as many guys as possible sparring together at the same time, and their skills benefit each other. I have all of my guys together in one gym, on the same sparring schedule, and I make sure that my best guy in each discipline is leading their respective sparring session, even if they're low on Energy. There are also "sparring only" gyms and gyms that recruit guys who are great in one or two disciplines.

This is really important. I actually keep a float of atleast 10 Extreme Recoveries ($75 ea) from Non Stop Nutrition in my manager account. I use them for all my newer fighters so they can train all week. As they get to their second contract and can afford better supps, I normally switch them to the $150 recovery supplement or MMA's best Nutritions Recovery Supp.
Non-Stop Nutrition and MMA's Best Nutrition in Vegas are the places to go for elite supps.
