So I want to spar as much as possible rather than train with a specific coach?

with the recent training changes I have been using this method...4 sessions circuit training...4 sessions sparring and 4 sessions skill per week...my guys seem to be moving up at a relatively fast rate...you also may have slow learners which sucks I have at least one guy that is...but I refuse to can guys unless they drop in a row....at least for now.

Not necessarily. To be just a good boxer, for example, you would need Boxing, Punch Technique, Striking Defense, Agility, Strength and Conditioning (of course, this is MMA, so you wouldn't really want to be just a good boxer, but I'm just using that as an example).

Training any skill provides a small benefit to all related skills, so Boxing Sparring will slowly improve Punch Technique, Striking Defense, Agility, Strength, and Conditioning, but nowhere near as efficiently as training those skills and attributes. For a fighter who needs improvement across the board, something like sclasclemski's method is probably what you want.

Achilles are you doing well popping your fighters lvls? I just want to kno cause a guy that plays told me the best way is to spar in the classes with the most fighters. Some of my guys are not popping very quick and Ive tried both methods but didnt know that training at less than 85% energy was useless til a month ago. Ive been drilling all of them into shape now. I was told that just using the cardio workout was superior to the circuit training for popping conditioning. What do you think?

A guy who runs the gym one of my fighters trains at was freaking out telling people they are wasting their time sparring with anything less than 12 fighters in a group. Is this not the truth? Or does a white belt grappling with a purple belt work better with just 2 of them? This guy was positive he was right sayin that. Im still learning but want to improve quicker. VIP is a must IMO.

From what I've read around the forums over there, it is better to train with a handful of guys that are better than you than to train with that same handful of guys as well as people that are worse than you. But if you're non-vip, you don't have many options outside a gyms sparring schedule unless you arrange some quallity sparring on an off day with a higher level fighter than yours.

I also think its best to spread sparring out across the week and avoid sparring the same thing for all your sessions, as you won't get as much out of the latter ones if they are clustered together.

And for the cardio question, keep their levels between 85-100 when training and the first thing I do after making a fighter is get their conditioning up. Usually put them to part time on the first week because they usually need a day off if you do two cardio sessions in a row.

EDIT: And sclasclemski is right. With changes to sparring put into effect, fighters will pop slower.

Well, I think I may have *finally* gotten the tactics sliders down. I can't check to make sure right now, but I believe I'm something along the lines of 7-1 or 7-1-1 in my last handful of fights.

Thanks to everyone for all the advice and suggestions!

FYI - this game is *still* fun as hell more than 8 months later.

I just started a Sabotage, Inc. Alliance. PM me if you're VIP and interested in joining.

If anyone is interested in joining an Alliance, contact me either here or on Tycoon (Manager ID: 4952) and I'll send you an invitation to join Sabotage, Inc. We have some top notch members and we recently became one of the Top 10 Alliances in the "world". Unfortunately, you have to be VIP to join an Alliance. If you haven't upgraded to VIP, I highly suggest it. The game is A LOT more fun with all of the different options you have after upgrading. I couldn't imagine playing without it, actually.

TOPS: $200 each (minimum 10)
BOTTOMS: $200 each (minimum 10)

• Please allow 5-7 days (depending on interest/response) turnaround time.
• 100% creative control is preferred, but ideas/suggestions are definitely welcome.
• Orders are limited to 2 fighters per manager. Please don't ask for skins for more than 2 of your fighters at once.
• Realism is something I encourage and also strive for within this game. I will not be honoring requests for unrealistic images (your fighter's head on Superman's body, your fighter as a 15th century prostitute, etc.) at this time.
• Did you use up all of your skins? Re-order and get a 50% DISCOUNT on another set of 10 skins!

TO ORDER: Send an in-game PM to Stanky Fleek (4952)

I haven't played for months and months but after seeing this thread again I may be tempted to pick it back up.

I'm having a blast; I definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to play an MMA simulation game with a little time to kill. I'm ID 43627 if anyone wants to find me on there.
