This event will feature Josh Thomson's first defense of the Strikeforce lightweight title against the fighter that last held the belt in Gilbert Melendez.
This has been confirmed by Strikeforce as the co-main event with Carano/Cyborg.

The way they advertised it tonight it appears they're putting Carano/Cyborg as the main event ?
No disrespect to the women, but a 5x5 title fight as a lead-in for a 3x3 fight between fighters who never make weight.
Doesn't sound right to me.

My thoughts exactly.
I guess Coker and Co are really banking on Gina becoming a superstar, but i think it's a little early to be honest and the women should be the lead-in to the Thomson/Melendez fight.
