I love Randy Couture to death but I just don't think he can deal with Tim Sylvia. Don't get me wrong I love to see Tim lose but that might have to wait for Cro Cop.

You might be right. But Randy is smart and he has surprised us before. He says he has ideas about how to beat a big man like Tim. That's what makes this a good fight. I am looking forward to it. Hope he makes Sylvia work hard for it.

Couture is a great fighter and all, but he does not stand a chance against Sylvia.

If anyone thinks he can beat Sylvia, I will wager them when the time comes. Easy money.

Randy is a student of the game and has tons of heart, but even that may not be enough to beat big Tim. I'll still be pulling for The Natural all the way, but I'll be making Tim my pick and placing wagers on him.

We all love Randy - I think he's got a good shot against Sylvia - definitely not a favorite due to Tim's size but if he fights smart like the Old Randy his game may still be good enough - the only thing I'm concerned about is that Randy was starting to get the Hollywood shine to him and people tend to lose their edge when that happens - only GSP can smile ALL the time and still beat people up

i dont know why everyone thinks randy will lose...i wouldn't place any wagers on this one. randy is great fighter, and although i think tim has got a great shot at proveing himself, he seams to unpredictable fight to fight. ill be watching

I think if Randy wins we seee Randy/Cro-cop. if he loses he should move down to lightHVY and spank Tito again. Literally

I'll take that bet. Easy money for me thanks to the LAME-iac. I'm sorry, I have nothing personal against him. He is way too conservative to be wearing that belt. He is forgetting that at this level... he is also getting paid to entertain. If he was in Rome, they'd sick the lions on him. Randy is the people's champion. I really think he can take down Sylvia and give him a good beating.

I think Chuck broke Randy's jaw in for an up and coming Sylvia knock out. I like Randy a lot. He even came out and visited us in Iraq, so I've got nothing but love for the big guy. I just think Sylvia might be able to put it to him if Sylvia trains hard enough.

if he beats Tim he will get his ass rocked by CroCop.

I like Randy too but I feel this is a really bad decision. Kind of similar to Deion Sanders coming back to the Ravens and sucking. Except Deion didnt have to worry about getting his head kicked off.

I agree i think its a bad idea to return especially with the addition of CROCOP and there is still arlovski that make it near impossible to keep the title if he can even get past tim

I am NOT a big fan of Sylvia but I don't see Randy beating him, but if he wins he'll probablly fight AA and I think it's a horrible matchup for Randy, not quite as bad as Chuck but AA striking style is perfect for beating Randy. Then we can watch a great fight between AA and CC with CC becoming the new heavyweigh champ!

For me Randy is a bigger underdog in this fight than Sanchez is vs CC.
Doesn't matter how much I analyse the match-up, I always come to the same conclusion: Randy can't win this fight vs Big Tim.

I'm glad people on here don't share my beliefs as I'll make some hefty e-money off this fight.

Sry Randy. You are THE hero of MMA but you won't win this fight. Not in a million years.

He will defend his title against AA first because I don't think Mirko will get a title shot after just beating Sanchez. If Randy gets pasted AA, then he meets Mirko.

Wont happen. Arlovski and Randy have trained extensivley in the past......they wont fight. Randy should retire if they want him to fight Cro cop but he wont duck the fight. He would take it and get KO'd........ poor Randy.
