It was confirmed today that the Coaches for TUF 10 Will be Rampage and Evans, interesting choice but from the reading sounds like it was Rampage who wanted it like this. Plus i love the fact that the belt is not going to be tied up due to the show. Link i also like the the Rampage vs Evans matchup, however this brings up another question, who fights Machida, the above link mentioned Shogun, however his win against Coleman was a joke and a knockout against the Iceman just does not mean what it used to, IMO he does not deserve a title shot. i dont see anyone that jumps out at me, What do you guys think?

Well what happens if evans beats rampage. Then evans gets another shot? No. If evans beats rampage, someone else will get a shot.

I would probably say shogun will get the shot, im not saying he deserves or doesnt deserve it. But he will prolly get the shot.

Or maybe forrest? If he finishes silva?

It shouldn't be Shogun yet, but I can't think of anyone off the top off my head. Too bad the ufc couldn't scratch silva vs griffin and have a rematch of shogun and griffin for a title shot

I guess Shogun is the man, unless Machida waits to see if Forrest wins, but that's a long wait.

At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in the playground is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no props, and may the mods have mercy on your soul.

the ufc backs are against the wall with rampage passing on the title either way u see it someone has to step up,
they have no one else but shogun right now
or luis cane but he is still two fights away
i say drastic measures scrap couture vs big nog fight
have couture fight machida for belt or
if forrest does indeed beat silva in aug have forrest fight machida next or if franklin gets past wanderli he should be mentioned as well

but overall i think shogun will be fast tracked to title shot sometime this fall

I agree with winner of Shogun and Cane but if Forest wins then he should get the shot.

Shogun was originally scheduled to fight Machida before Forrest asked for the fight. I agree that Shogun doesn't the shot now BUT if Rampage will be TUFing, then who?

Shogun-Cane winner? fair enough, but that would be AFTER Silva-Griffin, if Forrest win then let him get the shot and have that Shogun-Cane fight BUT.... if Forrest loses? by the time the Shogun-Cane fight is scheduled that would probably be jut a month before the Rampage-Evans fight, so they may wait for that fight BUT that would mean an longer lay off for the belt in a stacked division. AND what if Evans win? Immediate title shot rematch? ... hmmmm not fair for the rest of the division IMO.

So I think they'll give it to Shogun right away unless Rich Franklin get the next title shot for the LHW belt IF he beat Wandy. They could hype the fight using Machida's win over him. Maybe that doesn't make sense counting the Hendo loss and I agree but if Lesnar got it with a Mir(L)-->Herring(W), why not Franklin with a Hendo(L)--> Wandy(W), plus a recognized face and long time MW champ.

Clearly its got to be shogun, I don't know why so many people kind of discount Shoguns win over Liddell. No one does that to Evans and there fights were not that far apart from each other. It might be better to have say rampage or forrest fight for the title over shogun but thats not a possibility, the only other worthy opponent is Shogun IMO.
