Definately potential for KO of the year imo. I had him by decision but was glad to see him get another exciting KO. I think now he will get the fan attention he has always deserved. I agree with Joe that the era of Lyoto has begun, I dont think anyone is going to beat this guy for a while.
The Dragon vs Rampage anyone?

if machida had no problems tagging rashad, who is pretty damn elusive himself, he will have no problems tagging cement feet rampage at will, and rampage is my favorite fighter.

Maybe Rashad can practice his dance routine in the hospital because he didn't get a lot of rehearsal time tonight in the cage.

I'm glad people are starting to truly see how good Machida is. I think he will hold the tittle for a long time.

me and my buddy were at buffalo wildwings watching and were on our feet yelling as Machida finished Rashad. I'm still pumped up about that win.
On a side note. I've alwasy liked Rampage but I don't see him lasting long against Machida. Machida is on a new level right now.

mma-core has the video up now. Its linked from youtube so I don't know how much longer that one will be up but I'm sure there are a few other sources.

At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in the playground is now dumber for having listened to it. Beautiful execution by Machida. I dont think Rampage has the answer either. If Anderson Silva goes to 205 it would be interesting or if Randy dropped back down one last time. Other wise Machida will be the 205 King for awhile.

I knew he was elusive but I thought Rashad would be able to hit him a bit more. After watching the countdown it looked like Machida dropped his hands quite a bit after engaging then backing out. I also had a question about his chin. Looked like Rashad hit him good once or twice and it didn't faze Machida at all. Can't wait for Anderson Silva to challenge him for the title

Been singing Machida's praises for a while, happy to see him get the domminant finish and silence all the naysayers. I will say that it was surprising to see so many people in the bar that i watched the fight in rooting for Lyoto. Can't wait to see his first defense, WAR MACHIDA
