“Well, to start it off, I think Machida will win by what Joe Rogan calls, ‘elusiveness!’ or in my words ‘hit and run.’ This will be a great test for Evans to find the range to get the takedown. Machida is the favorite in my experience with both fighters. Never mind there’s only one of the fighters that are undefeated truthfully. That mark one on Rashad’s record isn’t a draw. It’s nice to see that one guy I almost submitted will be the champ and the other that I beat is the champ. I’m still a force to be reckon with.”

– Former UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz tells PunchDrunkGamer.com that he’s still got game because he’s given the UFC 98: “Evans vs. Machida” main event participants all they could handle. “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy” battled current 205-pound champ, “Sugar” Rashad” to a draw at UFC 73: “Stacked” back in July 2007, but more than likely would have won the bout if he didn’t get docked a point for grabbing the fence in the second round. He then had Machida in big trouble courtesy of a triangle/armbar submission attempt late in the third round of their bout at UFC 84: “Ill Will” in May 2008. He eventually dropped the contest to “The Dragon” via clear-cut unanimous decision. So what say you … is Tito Ortiz still a major player at 205 pounds or can he still compete (and beat) the best in the world?

I would say Tito is still a force, but a dwindling one.
He helped make Lyoto and Rashad stars but not by beating them.
Tito should spend less time gloating over a draw and a loss and focus on trying to gloat over a win sometime in his future.

Forces to be reckoned with sign contracts and fight. Guys on the downside look for one more big payday and talk about how they didn't beat the champ and number one contender almost a year ago to the day. There is only one guy who can stay away for a year and talk about how good he is......Fedor and guess what he dosn't! Just fight Tito or go away.

No offense to Tito but he sounds ridiculous. Both Rashad and Machida get better every fight, Tito hasnt gotten better in ages he's just the same old Tito. Yes, he's still a tough guy but he isnt one of the best in the world anymore.

Tito is a bad style matchup for some fighters, regardless him saying Rashad's draw against him is a loss, just shows his immaturity.

Did you even watch that fight?
Tito won that fight except for a bad call.

yes it was a draw but you have to admit tito got the better of him in that fight, and won two out of three rounds. not that i think tito would beat rashad now, rashad has gotten 10x better since then

After this quote, there is only one word to sum Tito Ortiz up: Bitter.

I still cant believe how many people think rashad lost that fight, WHY!!!!! ....... clearly tito wins round 1, round 2 rashad tries to get the slam but little bitch tito grabs the fence ref warns him a few times, then takes a point away, rightfully so, action starts over with tito getting the TD now, lucky him if he didnt grab the fence he'd be on his back, 3rd round tito gets bullied like he wouldve if he didnt grab the fence, so rightfully so it was a draw, and if tito didnt grab the cage 3-4 times in round 2 rashad wouldve beat his ass like he did in round 3, tito needs to realize the ONLY reason that fight is a DRAW for rashad and not a WIN is because tito CHEATED

Machida beat the s h it out of Tito and only got caught in the triangle attempt because he got reckless, but his escape was beautiful and then he punched and elbowed Tito in the face - repeatedly.

Just thinking here - have Babalu and Tito ever fought? That would be good b/c they both got KO'ed by Chuck twice.

Close only counts with horse shoes and hand grenades.........If Tito want's to try and talk a big game he should be signing somewere and trying to prove that he can still fight......
