UFC welterweight Dan Hardy considers himself an Englishman in LA.

The 26 year-old Nottingham native spends most of his days with his girlfriend in the City of Angels. Only training camps take him from the city.

In addition to his usual work with grappling guru Eddie Bravo, Hardy is the latest MMA fighter to find Freddie Roach's Wild Card gym. It's also around the corner from his LA apartment, which made directions easy.

I can tell by your comments that you know nothing of Hardy. When you say different levels in terms of striking you are obviously only taking punching into consideration. Yes Marcus is the better boxer but no way is he the better kicker. Both punching and kicking are part of striking. Hardy's Taekwondo/Muai Thai skills will mean he will be far more dangerous with the legs. This should be a close fight, by no means will this be domination by either fighter.

I can't agree with you that Marcus is better with kicks and knees but your opinion is your opinion and I respect that. I guess we will see.

I am confused now You said that Davies striking is on a different level. Then you said that you were talking about kicks also. Then you say that you think Hardy has better kicks???
