It will be nice to see Guida against another wrestler again. Everyone has been hating on Guida lately, but it's only because he hasn't been matched up against people who can match his wrestling intensity. Sanchez should fit the bill nicely. I expect a FOTN type here

I don't know who else noticed but Diego, despite his intensity, was very flat in his last fight (AKA conditioning and explosiveness was very normal.
If he has adjusted he could be a similar Diego. But he is no nightmare regardless. He should be overwhelmed by Guida.

Diego is just as good at scrambilng and transitioning as guida is, to match a much better stand up game.
I dont see Guida winning this match short of Diego coming in with a terrible weight cut.

Diego has a hard time with guys he can't take down. He's going to have a hard time with Guida.I don't know if he can keep up at the same pace as Guida can at 155 pounds.
I'm leaning twards Guida winning a close decision in an incredible fight that will probably look a lot like his fight with Tyson Griffin.

LOL, Guida is over hyped and Sanchez is overrated, Diego should be much bigger and much stronger, his striking game has really came along from back in the tuff days.
Guida is not going to be able to just hang on for dear life and pull out another win by dry humping, Sanchez has superior wrestling to Guida, something Diaz needs to work on and is his only real chink in the armor and to Guida 's credit he took advantage of that.
I dont see any way he can control Sanchez the way he did Diaz and dont forget when two wrestlers meet it usually turns into a stand up fight.
I see Sanchez winning the stand up and even though I dont know that he will dictate the pace of the fight all three rounds, I do know he will dictate where the fight takes place and to me he has too many advantages once he establishes control of a fight for Clay to be able to overcome them.
Im going to go out on a limb and give a prediction, Sanchez by TKO middle of the third round. A safer bet would be UD but Ive seen a lot of both fighters and I think Diego can hurt Clay.

Sanchez. The only thing in doubt is whether it's by late RNC or UD.
Give him a title shot after it's over. Forget Sherk.
