imo babalu is incredibly underatted since he left the ufc and the fact that chuck is his kyrptonite(sp?) i think babalu subs
Rampage Evans Cane possibly, griffin more likely to decsion shogun again but not machida :P
also once babalu beats lil nog on the 3rd affliction card i think the ufc may want him back, wishful thinking on my part
just my little tyraid for today and extreme nuthuggery of babalu.

I don't think he could get Rampage or Evans to the ground and I don't think he submits Shogun....Shogun's grown a ton and is definetly good enough on the ground to avoid any subs Babalu puts out there.

I think babalu could pull guard on evans or pag, he just needs to watch the slam. and actually shogun has gotten worse since being in the ufc?

Jackson hasn't been submitted since 2001, when he was green and facing Sakuraba, and has faced the likes of Murilo Bustamante and Ricardo Arona in his 25 fights since then. There's no indication that Jackson is easily submitted.
I'd like to see Evans fight somebody whose strongest point is jiu-jitsu too. I don't think he would be able to get somebody like Evans to the mat though.
Shogun has gotten worse since he's been in the UFC, but it's not from a demonstrable detioriation of skills but rather injuries and poor cardio.

Renato is a tough dude, one of my favourite fighters to watch. I dont think he could beat Rampage or Rashad, becouse I dont think he would get them to the ground. He could possibly stand with Rashad and take a decison as long as he doesnt get caught by one of Rashads haymakers. I do think he could sub Shogun though.

I dont think Babalu is underrated.
As far as a UFC return highly unlikely atleast for awhile, with him fighting in Affliction and being the Strikeforce LHW Champ....
But I wish he would come back, but as long as he keeps winning, Im cool with that too.

I like Babalu a lot but he's not subin Rampage or Rashard i wud like to see him choke Rashard none the less thou.He wud loss to Forrest to i think on UD.Shogun has come along way since that fight and i think it wud be close but a think shogun wud edge it in the 3rd on win a SD.As far as Machida comes he wud not come close he wud not take him down Machida wud pick him apart .Thats just my opinion

i think babalu is still among the top 10 lhw's .............. he has been for quite some time now. he has the tools to beat any of the top guys- evans, jackson, machida, griffin, shogun again, rogerio nog, cane, wand, jardine babalu has some of the best jiu jitsu and wrestling in the game and now his striking has come full circle. this guy keeps getting more dangerous as the years go by and in my mind he's just entering his prime as a mixed martial artist. if he decides to stay in the game for about 3 or 4 more years i think he will go down as one of the best 205 fighters ever. ........if he gets the right opponents which he should with strikeforce and affliction.

Babalu definatly deserves to back in the UFC LHW ranks. I dont know if that will ever happen though????? Lets all hope so. He would make for some interesting match-ups. Babalu VS. Hamill, Jon Jones, Luis Cane, Franklin.

Babalu vs Cane really has me liking it, haha...
I'm a fan of Renato, i do think he's amoung the top fighters in the LHW divison. His only big losses were Henderson, Fedor, Randleman, Liddell those were all pre-2003... since then he's 15-2, with losses against Chuck and Lambert.
