It says they are available for both weight classes. Pretty good roster.

I also, want to go out on a limb here and say with this being a first release game, there is going to be alot of things that people will catch that need to be improved upon. With saying that, I am goign to keep an open mind while playing 2009. I havent heard whether they are going to continue this such as 2010, 2011, and so forth but I would expect a new game to be released every year or 2 with multiple updates being downloaded such as the fighters attributes and fighters avalible.
My question now is, have we heard anything about the release date and if there will be a demo out...? If nothing has been said as of yet, we should be hearing something very-very soon. Man I feel like I have been waiting for this game just like I have been waiting for the release of the 5th gen Camaro (4th gen enthusist here).

Where did you get this info? Just tried to pre-order from amazon and the date was June 2nd.
I don't want to get left behind, if it comes out May 15th, and I don't get it until June I'll be at a disadvantage to those who have practiced for a couple weeks.

Haha the roster is good yea there's a few guys that aren't in it but be grateful for what there is. It's like twice the size of the roster of the old games. Maybe it will have something like NHL 09 where you go online and it updates the rosters for you, that would be awesome. **** is definitely gonna be coming out that you can download I'm sure of it. I really would have liked to see Pulver and Tank though, but what can you do.

glad I read the roster before I read the comments I woulda thought all kinds of fighters were left out of the game lol lol lol
glad to see that in fact they are in the game with the exception of cote, quarry and guida, cote and quarry should be fairly easy to create and jon jones and yeah kyle bradley, nakamura, burkman, sylvia, eddie sanchez, arlovski wtf????
still extremely excited to play this though

Im guessing they are going to put more characters on there because they havnt released 80 names and there are only like 25 on the website... It pissed me off when i saw guys like kyle bradly and mark bocek... Why not have guys like paul kelley and chris lytle? oh well i bet they will all be added

Lytle is in the game. I really wish that people will read the entire list instead of posting stupid crap about people not being on the list. Some guy that does MMA interviews is posting an audio interview with a guy from THQ tomorrow. The link is posted on IGN.com on the UFC forums. He said something about Legends and DLC. I'm sure people will get Guida, and Carwin and just about anyone else they want.
