Former UFC champion Tito Ortiz, who was a no-show for his exhibition boxing match with UFC president Dana White over the weekend, says he skipped the bout for a variety of reasons — most notably, the UFC’s refusal to cut him in on any of the event’s profits.

On the surface it looks like Tito is ducking Chuck. But rather than just no show. He could just talked to Dana and postponed it. If he is worrided about getting hurt in 9mintues of fighting dana. Moron.

Okay guys what do you think is tougher. 3-3minute rounds with Dana? Or lasting almost 3-5minute rounds with Chuck without gettin injured.

Come on,

He is letting a porn star run his fighting career. She is a genius of a porn star, figured out how to make a lot of money, but come on be a fighter not a vagina.

I'll box Dana for 3 3min rounds, for free. I would love a shot at that cocky, arrogant bastard.

Ya im not sure what Tito was thinking. He requested the match against Dana, he requested that it would be written into his UFC contract and then bails out. I would've loved to have seen this, even if Tito kicked Danas ass or vice versa.. it would've been a good show.

BOO Tito

That whole event was complete BS. The whole thing was to just make dana look like he is some tough guy (which he might be as a boxer in a boxing match). But it was all pointless and I was pissed I wasted my time. Why doesn't Dana get in the ring at one his own mma events--then I'll give him his props. And if Tito wasn't getting any money for working he should be allowed to decide if he would box or not. I don't work for free either.

Tito would almost certainly lose. His standup is pretty sub-par, and obviously boxing is a whole different game from MMA. Without the ability to use his wrestling against an almost gone pro boxer he would more than likely get worked.

for tito the 3-3 minute rounds would probably be tougher. You can't pick people up in boxing. Dana was a boxer for a very long time before he got into the UFC.

I highly doubt it, Dana was a good Amateur boxer ten years ago, and look at the sheer size advantage
Not the best pic but i am too lazy to look for one where they are face to face

The size advantage makes very little difference when you consider that Tito is a WRESTLER with TERRIBLE standup. Whether it was a long time ago or not Dana's standup would be about a million times more technical than Tito's. I'm not saying Dana would knock him out or anything, but I really really doubt that any wrestler with no boxing ability would out-box a boxer in a boxing match. Combat sports are about ability, not size. Put any giant ripped tough guy with no training into a ring with a trained lightweight and I don't really care how much bigger the guy is, he's losing the fight, the same way that royce beat everyone when no one knew any of the technical aspects of jiu-jitsu.

You either have the tools or you don't. Tito is a wrestler, he would get beaten by just about any boxer in the world in a boxing match. MMA rules would be a different story, obviously Dana would get crushed.

Exactly. I'm sick of his parading around thinkin he's the shit when he could barely hang with Rashad in that unbelievably horrible fight. He's done. Over.
