Former EliteXC lightweight champion Karl James Noons was offered a title shot against Strikeforce lightweight champion Josh Thomson at StrikeForce: Shamrock vs Diaz on April 11 but turned down the fight to concentrate on his boxing career.

This guy is turning down fights right and left.

Every time he does it,his value keeps going down, due to the fact that he is fading in the public's memory.Plus it keeps other promoters from wanting to deal with you.

This will cost him,one way or another.

WB.

To concentrate on his boxing career? Im sorry KJ that you are the last to know this but your boxing career is non existent.

Im sorry I have to be the one to tell you this KJ, but the last guy you boxed has an 8-7 record and it ended up as a decision.

The guy before that has a 4-11 record and guess what....you took him to a decision too.

Go back to MMA. Your boxing was great in MMA....Your boxing is only mediocre at best in Boxing though.

This guy is really missing out IMO by turning down all these big fights. Most casual fans and MMA news readers only recignise his name cause of all the stoires about all the fightd he has turned down.

KJ is turning down title shots in MMA, in favour of advertising for an opponent in boxing on Sherdog

As my Grandpa used to say,"I'd like to buy him for what he's worth and sell him for what he THINKS he's worth."

Love spreadage must occur WB but great stuff.
To address the topic though, I really can't say that this surprises me really at all. I honestly didn't think we'd hear from KJ Noons as pertaining to MMA for a while.

KJ Noons the Elite XC champ. "No Nick Diaz you're not on my level, now that I've conquered all of MMA I think I'll focus on conquering boxing" lol

Seriously though, this fight is the equivilant of the Rampage Hendo fight for regional organizations. The sad part is KJ had mad potential MAD potential. But now he'd duck a fight with his reflection.

"Who's that guy? 11-47 right? yeah that sounds like a good opponent. You hear that boxing I'm takin over!!! I'm gonna decision the shiiit out of this guy!!" lol
