Lightweight Alberto Crane will be the first to tell you that his initial Ultimate Fighting Championship run was a disappointment on many levels.

After a stellar start to his career, which saw him win his first eight fights en route to the King of the Cage 155-pound title, Crane lost back-to-back fights in the UFC to Roger Huerta and Kurt Pellegrino.

Just as quickly as he had arrived, six months after his UFC debut, he was released from the company.

He's not going to get back in beating guys that are 3-10, 4-3, and 1-3. Maybe a couple of wins over good fighters might be more in line.

Cran has won 3 straight but it wasnt stellar competition. Remember the two guys he fought in the UFC, two contenders, pellegrino and huerta. Since then the UFC LW division has only gotten tougher.

So I dont see Crane having any success, atleast not against the contenders. There is always WEC, I mean cause the guy is only 5'5"
