Ok..I figured Larson would be the favorite as he is more well know and has a few big wins....but I can't believe how many of you are counting Jesse out.

He hasn't fought the best opponents, but this kid is an absolute beast! His groundgame is solid and he has heavy hands..plus the guy trains like a maniac.

Anyone who follow the smaller shows and up and comers know the hype surrounding jesse...I think he will tear Larson up, and finally get some more recognition..the kid is gonna be big.

Anyone else think that he will win?

I have some real wagers on the guy for +500, i was astounded that he crept that high.

He definitely has a pretty good shot for an underdog bonus.

I've seen him a few times, and watched his most recent bout. The kid is certainly athletically giftedbut--for whatever reason he has struggled against fighters I would consider "mid-level fighters".

Mostly it just comes down to his recent level of cometition which is astoundingly poor, his last five fights for example his opponents records have been..0-5, 7-6, 0-1, 0-1, 0-7. I think he's actually lucky he got into the UFC facing that level of competition. I don't think that tells the whole story, because like I said he seems to be pretty athletic and talented--just a huge step up in competition.

I think you are underestimating Brock Larson though. He only has two losses on his record, to Fitch and Condit, and I think he's gonna make some serious waves in the ww division. Sanders is a good fighter, but Larson is a great fighter.

Larson with his brute force will win. As far as brock beating upper WW's idk, because he's seems some what small for a UFC WW, looks more like a LW.

Sanders has the best chin in all of MMA, and his slams are Rampage-like.

I'll be picking him, wagering on him, and real-life wagering on him.

I can't go into detail, but I also have some inside knowledge on a Brock Larson injury that will severely limit him. I think he'll be on the shelf for the next year if he indeed does get the surgery needed after this fight.

I feel like Larson should be the underdog. This is insane.

i usually don't like telling people about skewed odds but i can say this we will be seeing a lot of big parlays with the way Sanders came in. this one isn't even close imo, i know everyone is big on Brock and Sanders hasn't really proven himself yet, but trust me when i say Sanders is going to take this. his key locks are NASTY and he gets them so easily. unless Brock can stuff the take down (which i don't think he can because of the Sanders' slams) Jesse is going to get this with a key lock. i have seen him get side control on guys in JJ tournaments as if he was greased up (which i don't think he was). the way he grabs the kimura/americana is probably one of the most vicious i have seen ia while. no joke, he grabs the arm like a poor man's version of Jacare. i say Jesse takes this fight to the ground mid way through the first and surprises Larson en route to a first round sub.

JJ was right last event when he told me Dunham was going to outclass Eklund...

But yeah im surprised so many people know how ridiculous his slams are.
I had never seen a stuffed-shot lead to a powerbomb, which then was transitioned perfectly into a kneebar. K. Shamrock - Bas style

Larson has always had trouble against fighters that could control him, physically. FItch neutralized his wrestling entirely, and condit snatched up his arm as soon as he made a mistake.

I think Sanders uses a combination of his top control and bjj transitioning to keep him on his back and control waht larson can do from there.

Larson needs to use his wrestling to beat his opponents, and in this match-up i just dont see him successfully applying his will in the grappling portion. or octagon control for that matter.

I heard about a week ago from a friend in minnesota that the training camp Lesnar, Sherk, Larson train at got hit with quite a few staph infections recently.
