Maia would eat way too many shots trying to get inside to "pull Gaurd" which would most likely be his only chance with Anderson. Its foolish hope to think Maia has the skill set to beat Anderson so long as he remains motivated. Thats really the only hole in His game is possibly losing motivation after so easily beating everyone for so long. I hope that this new wave of contenders gets Anderson to refocus so we dont see anymore of what we saw in the Cote fight, which can only be described as a bored champion toying with a lessor opponent. If Silva defends his title 4 more times in the UFC I believe I would be satisfied. Leitus, Bisbing/Henderson, Marquardt/Maia (which will be Marqaurdt), and Yushin Okami. After that its retire or go after your friend Lyoto's belt at 205.

People also seem to forget that Cote and Silva just went the distance on the feet and some would argue Cote would have won but blew out his knee. This was a huge statement that Silva might not be training the way he should and might be too comfortable.

It didn't went to distance, silva won through tko after cote couldn't continue. And cote didn't land one shot in that fight. how could anyone possibly think he would have won that fight?!?!?!? huge statement? duuh, no sir. cote did nothing but survive because of silvas patience.

Hendo has the best chance. 42/58
Melvin has a good chance. 40/60
Maia in 2 years maybe. 35/65
Nate 35/65
Yushin 30/70
Rich 30/70
Bisping doesn't have the power. 10/90

Wandy ? would like to see if he can reclaim a bit of himself.

you're mad - Franklin has NO chance - NONE

40/60 Melvin?!?! - pure hilarity

With all due respect, to say Rich has NO chance is ridiculous. To say any top 185 lber is unable to win shows a lack of knowledge and history of even the past two years.

Edit: Ask Hunt how ridiculous it would be for Melvin, who is 100 lbs lighter, to put him out.
