That's a pretty interesting fight. I like it.

It's pretty obvious that most of the bout would be done on the feet. I think that Hardy may have a slight edge in the power department. But I'm not certain that his counter-punching style work well against a fighter like Davis who has such great footwork, and controls the distance so well.

I also think that Davis will be much more comfortable working the body with those leg kicks against a guy like Hardy who isn't much of a threat when the fight hits the floor. (Of his four submission wins, two were do to strikes, and one was due to injury.)

I hope they get this one done. It's a mid-level match-up worth looking forwad to.

It sounded like he's been working on his ground game. Rogan said he's been working a lot with Eddie Bravo, which I think could be interesting to see.

Hardy is a very interesting fighter and I'm sure he will make a splash at 170 but I could for sure see him dropping weight to 155. He said He locked eyes with St. Pierre while exiting the Octagon so maybe he has high hopes... I would like to see him fight Anthony Johnson.

I can see Davis taking this fight against hardy.

I could also see Hardy dropping to 155 to dominate too. Like Diego

I could see Hardy dropping to 170, but only if he lost to a guy like Davis of AJ.

Ok, so props to Hardy for beating Gono. But with this quick win over Markham, everybody is ready to call this kid the second coming? And he's already talking about GSP??? I'm all for fighters having confidence, but please. I remain quite skeptical. Davis would be a good test, but likely too much for Hardy to handle. I think Davis would put him away pretty quickly.

I think it would be a good fight between Hardy and Davis... that fight would have to be over seas...
