Dave Meltzer has buyrate updates on the UFC and Affliction in his latest newsletter(subscription only--it's worth it.) First, UFC 94:

The trending information and some early information from a variety of sources gives an inconclusive picture nailing down how UFC 94 did, but it appears to have fallen short of early predictions regarding blowing away all previous company marks.

Based on the early trending data, it overall looks to be just over 1 million buys, with the major boost coming from Canada, where it was a record setter.

There are other reports from those with actual knowledge of PPV numbers themselves who have said at this point the confirmed number of buys was closer to 800,000, which, if true, would be a disappointment by today’s standards.

That sucks about Affliction, they arent gonna make it at this pace. Hopefully they get a TV deal or do something creative cause there PPV only business model wont work

I'm not really surprised about Affliction. I went to 3 different sports bars here in town, all of which claimed to be having the event but confusing it with 94, and called 3 other sports bars i've watched events at in the past and NONE of them were showing the Affliction fight. I wasn't alone either. A guy came in next to us at the last place we went to and said he'd already been to two other sports bars i'd not considered and they weren't showing it either.

All in all I think they fell subject to an overshadow by the Penn v. St. Pierre superfight and being wedged between 3 other Zuffa events in as many weeks. It's a shame, but hopefully they'll have at least one more for Barnett v. Emelianenko.

I ordered the first but not the second. The first one had such crap production that I couldn't convince myself to pay for the second one.

Second had better production value. Affliction had so many finishes on both cards, they were both fantastic to watch on a big screen.
