In his first fight since losing at the TUF 8 Final, Phillipe Nover is set to face Kyle Bradley at UFC 98. This likely is a do-or-die fight for Bradley, 0-2 in UFC.

got to agree. some credit obviously has to be given to efrain for phillipes poor performance, but i was really buying into the hype that this kid might be a ready for stardom TUF winner and he fell completely flat. im hoping he just had the jitters that first time out and goes on a tear starting with bradley.

i bought into it too....i feel he just had jitters as well, looked scared coming out to the octagon........

this fight tho, i think is gonna be tougher than expected for nover.......i do think he will win by ko or sub depending......but bradley is better than hes shown...his striking is primarily boxing based, and has very good technique and power from the get go but tends to sloppy and lose concentration as the fight wears on....nover has good all around striking, but were he is impressive is in the power department....he does lack good movement, and tends to get over zelous, which i think cost him big in the efrian fight.....wrestling, i think bradley has the edge here and can expose his edge when nover overcommits like efrain did, yet i dont think hes gonna take it to the ground....bjj, goes to nover, hands down, hes a black belt, and bradley i think is blue or purple at best.....conditioning i give to nover as well.....in the end i think nover learned his lesson, has the jitters out of the way, and is ready to rock....so see them bang it out on the feet with bradley winning the battle of technique but not the battle of power and gets dropped and finished sometime in the late first early second either by g n p or sub....most likely sub....i still think nover is a lw to watch

Still pissed Dana got me like that. Duped I tell ya. But so long as Phillipe learns some TD defense he could eventually live up to what Dana hyped him to be.

As Arnold once said: "hasta la vista, Bradley"

I think Kyle is actually a pretty game opponent for Phillipe, but will end up losing in the 2nd, and losing his spot on the UFC roster as well.

Escudero overmatched Nover. I don't think it had anything to do with readiness; Efrain was just the better fighter.

Bradley lacks the strong wrestling background that allowed Escudero to exploit Nover's big weakness. Nover quickly and decisively should win this fight; it looks like a fight for White and his praise to be somewhat vindicated after Escudero embarrassed him by dominating Nover.

i knew they would give nover a can, and you know what i have no problem with it. he proved he obviously isn't ready for a big fight against efrain but he still has limitless potential.
